2004 Buckskin mare, solid 15 hands tall
Muchas Bert Girl: Blue Valentine, and Hancock breeding. Mic is pretty and built like a brick house. Straight and correct in her conformation. Really like the way this horse moves. She will load, clip, haul and tie without a problem. She is currently green broke and riding nice. Current on worming, coggins, teeth float, and vaccinations. Does have a scar on her hind, left leg. Little Monkey Boss:8yr old, sorrel, gelding, 15 hands. By Tremendous Machine out of a Pie In The Sky mare. Has won at Futurities, open rodeos and large jackpots. Monkey has run in the 1D for the last 3 years except for a hand full of times. Placing at WBR races, Pro rodeos, open rodeos etc. He is the real deal. Easy to ride and nice to be around. Monkey has a style of running that does not hit a barrel. He really gets down in his turns and drives out of a barrel. Lots of speed. More personality than 10 horses combined. Lots of try and style. 2008: Barrel Racing Season
8/17: Monkey Qualifies for the 1D Shootout Finals with our first go round finish of 4th. He makes a nice run to end up 10th overall. I was very excited to run against such nice horses and prove what Monkey is capable of. I don't get a chance to go to many big races so it's nice to excel when given the opportunity. With so many young horse in training I am unable to leave every weekend for days at a time. I need to stay close to home and take care of business leaving Monkey to run at the open rodeos around the house. They are always tough but the Shootout was a highlight.
8/17: 2nd go of the OKC shootout. Monkey runs the entire pattern with one rein to end up just out of a 2D check. In the allyway my right rein came unhooked. Thankfully I run with German Martingale reins so they kept the snap from whacking me in the head. Basically I was turning Monkey with rope pressure from the martingale. When I came out after my run I knew the rein was undone but did not know for how long. When I watched the video in slow motion you could see the rein dangling next to Monkey's muzzle. I couldn't understand why we didn't have as much snap as the night before but it all made sense after the run was over. He is an amazing horse and I am lucky to have him in my barn.
8/16: Monkey runs 4th in the 1D at the 2008 Summer Shootout in OKC against 866 of the best horses in the country. I am so proud of my boy.
8/9: 1st at the Choctaw, OK open rodeo. Winning it by .6 tenths. Monkey runs a scorching 16.4 with the next closest time being a 17.0 It was a smokin run. This horse is one of the GREATS!
8/8:3rd at the Choctaw, OK open rodeo.
8/2: 3rd at the Yukon rodeo with a miscalculation running to the second. But he tried as the ground was hard. Horses were slipping all over the place and one horse fell all the way down.
7/26 Wins the Chandler, OK open rodeo running bottom of the ground
7/20: 14th in the 1D at the WBR with over 900 entries (3rd run back)
7/12: Wins 5th in the 1D with 130+ entries (his first run back).
4-12: Placed at the Ardmore pro rodeo
4-12: Placed at the Mesquite pro rodeo.
4-5: 4th in the 1D. Heartland Tour. Chickasha, OK. 206 entries
4-4: 6th in the 1D. Heartland Tour. Chickasha, OK. 282 entries
3-30: Caught a barrel to win second at Tulsa Barrel Bash.
3-29 5th in the 1D at the Tulsa Barrel Bash
3-28: 2nd at the Bartlesville, OK open rodeo
3-20: 2nd at the Guthrie, OK rodeo at Lazy E. Monkey's first run of the year.

You can put a 6yr old child on this horse and he will turn 3 barrels. Oscar will take care of his rider, all you have to do is hold on. We call him the "Oscar" or the "Golden Boy."
